"The Urban Series" consists of limited edition pieces that vary slightly due to the melding of found objects, precious stones, 18K gold and hand wrought construction. The inspiration for this group is urban. I think of this collection as "city jewelry" in celebration of the pulse of humanity and our eclectic mix of style.      My travels to Europe and Asia have yielded some interesting baubles and beads that I have incorporated into many of these works. The beauty of an old key or an ancient bead inspires me visually as does mixing the old with the new or the found with the fabricated.      For some, these objects can be as symbolic as they are for me.
